Breaking: Half of Ohio State’s quarterback battle out for spring game

This Saturday’s LIFEsports Spring Game between the Scarlet and the Gray will mark the conclusion of Ohio State’s spring workouts.

It was intended to provide a peek at Kyle McCord and Devin Brown’s quarterback duel. Brown will not be able to participate in the scrimmage, which is unfortunate.

The second-year player is reportedly going to miss the game because one of his right hand’s fingers is hurt. He had to have a treatment since it was so terrible.

However, there is good news. It does sound like it should go away in the fall and seems to be quite mild.

The regular way a starting position is drawn up isn’t to miss out on time and the chance to present yourself in a live scrimmage situation, if that’s what we have.

It’s unfortunate that we won’t get to see Brown toss around the football on Saturday, but this isn’t the season and there is no need to play through any injuries.
