In the opening round of the NCAA hockey tournament, the Ohio State hockey team got off to a quick start. In the Bridgeport Regional, the Buckeyes were the underdogs against Harvard going into the game.
Before the Crimson knew what hit them, OSU was up early and often, winning 8-1.
The No. 2 overall seed, Quinnipiac, will now be Ohio State’s next opponent. With a score of 5-0, the Bobcats defeated Merrimac in the first round.
The Bucks will advance to the Frozen Four for the first time since 2018 and just the third time in programme history if they can pull off another upset.
