Kendall Jenner’s See-Through Met Gala After-Party Look Might Be Her Most Daring to Date

To put it mildly, Kendall Jenner has had a busy few days in the news, confirming her connection with Bad Bunny, which has long been rumored, and impacting the Met Gala red carpet in a black and white Marc Jacobs bodysuit paired with tall platform boots.

The model continued stealing the show when she appeared at a Met Gala after-party wearing an ensemble that ensured all eyes were on her.

Kendall’s after-party dress first resembles a classic Chanel piece, more precisely, a look from the label’s spring/summer 1994 collection (seen on the catwalk by supermodel Nadja Auermann).

Nensi Dojaka, a London-based designer, really developed the costume, which consists of a transparent sequin bodysuit with a black harness, knickers accents and pearl straps.

Dojaka posted an homage copy of one of Karl’s well-known looks on her Instagram Stories.

Regarding Met Gala night, Kendall never shies away from a barely there appearance. For instance, in 2021, a model walked the famed stairs of the Metropolitan Museum wearing a fish-tail gown by Givenchy that had been carefully covered with crystals while naked.

Kendall attended the after-parties the previous year wearing a floral-appliquéd translucent organza skirt and top, which exposed a silk satin Miu Miu bra and knickers combo below.

The autumn/winter 2023 runways saw fewer naked gowns than in prior seasons. Tailored separates and investment pieces from designers like Ferragamo, Bottega Veneta, and The Row eventually supplanted anything transparent.

However, sheer outfits that leave little to the imagination dominate celebrity wardrobes. And Kendall’s risqué after-party attire most definitely calls for a second glance.
