Air Noland could choose where he wanted to go to college to play football. The quarterback is the No. 7 player at his position in the 2024 class and a top-60 talent in the country, according to the 247Sports rankings.
He was heavily sought by a number of top schools, and Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, and Texas A&M were among his candidates.
Noland, a smart and exciting left-handed quarterback, made his choice on Saturday night. The man from Fairburn, Georgia, told his parents and a group of family and friends that he would play for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Scarlet and Grey’s past performance was important to Noland. Under head coach Ryan Day, Ohio State has been one of the best places in the country for developing quarterbacks.
Noland has seen players like Dwayne Haskins, Justin Fields, and C.J. Stroud, who were all in his pledge picture, break records with the Buckeyes before going on to the NFL. He wants to be the next in that scarlet and grey line.
With the underrated quarterbacks coach, Corey Dennis, and the newly promoted offensive coordinator, Brian Hartline, who was also the wide receivers coach, Noland couldn’t pass up this opportunity.
