The Wolverines have already been overtaken by Ohio State in the 2024 team recruiting rankings, despite the chest-thumping and parades.
Due to the success, it has had during the recruiting season, Michigan was set to appear as the host. And that applies to almost all of recruitment services, not just a select few.
The Buckeyes now have ten commitments in the class and have climbed all the way up to No. 2 in the 247Sports Team Composite Rankings,
one spot ahead of, er, Michigan, who has one more commitment but a lower per-star rating. This is thanks to the commitment of 4-star linebacker Payton Pierce from Lucas, Texas.
Ohio State also doesn’t seem to be finished. The Buckeyes are still in the race for other elite recruits, putting them on track to produce a truly massive recruiting class.
So, if you’re keeping score, it doesn’t seem like the Buckeyes are “falling apart,” as former Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards asserted.
