2023 NFL Mock Draft from 'With the First Pick' podcast: Four QBs go in top 10 in first edition of joint mock
Our three CBS Sports NFL Draft analysts -- Ryan Wilson, Chris Trapasso,
and Josh Edwards -- have basically been doing weekly mock drafts since the beginning of the regular season.
Rick Spielman has more than three decades of NFL scouting experience, including 10 years as the Minnesota Vikings general manager.
Put them together, and you have the first joint 2023 NFL mock draft from the "With the First Pick" podcast.
For those unfamiliar, "With the First Pick" is a weekly podcast that covers the NFL Draft all year around.
Launched just after Thanksgiving, co-hosts Wilson and Spielman discuss top prospects,
team needs and everything else to get you ready for the three-day event in the spring.
In this first joint mock draft, Wilson, Spielman, Trapasso and Edwards took turns making first-round picks,
and there were no trades. There are also only 31 selections,
as the Miami Dolphins were stripped of their first-rounder due to tampering.
One more note: The analysts made their picks off-air before the wild-card games,
so the draft order is as of the end of the regular season. Then, on the Monday, Jan. 16 episode,
Trapasso and Edwards joined the show to go through the mock draft and explain their choices. You can listen to the latest episode below.
