The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered this training camp and preseason with a quarterback battle on their hands as they signed veteran
Baker Mayfield in free agency after he spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Las Angeles Rams last season to compete against third-year quarterback Kyle Trask.
Following the Buccaneers' second preseason game it became evident that the Bucs were going to go with the vet in Mayfield as their starter week
one against the Minnesota Vikings before actually naming him the team's week one starter.
Even with Mayfield receiving the starting gig for the Bucs, that didn't quite translate to optimism and confidence for his upcoming season amongst those following what was happening in Tampa Bay.
According to SportsBetting.ag, Baker Mayfield leads the field with the best odds to be the first starting NFL quarterback to be benched this season at +200 odds.
Rounding out the three NFL starters with the highest odds to be benched first are second-year Commander's QB Sam Howell (+400) and Tennessee Titan's veteran QB Ryan Tannehill (+600).
For Howell this will be his first season as an NFL starting quarterback, while Tannehill has been around the league awhile
he has both rookie Will Levis and second-year phenom Malik Willis breathing down his neck. Quarterback Odds Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay +200
