Former Alabama defensive lineman LaBryan Ray has been released from the New England Patriots,
after spending the 2022 NFL season on the team’s practice squad.
Ray, who joined the Crimson Tide as a five-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting class,
went undrafted in 2022 but was signed by the Patriots shortly thereafter.
He was waived by the franchise just before the start of the regular season ,
and quickly signed to the New England practice squad.
In college, Ray, over five seasons, had 76 total tackles,
14 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and a single forced fumble.
