January is either a time to endure college basketball's endless whistles or reflect on the college football season. I choose to reflect.
Here’s a review of my best and worst SEC football takes and opinions from 2022.
: Building a strong program comes easier for coaches who foster widespread allegiance from their players,
staff and bosses. Harsin wasn’t earning that. Players were transferring, staff members were leaving,
and Harsin was the subject of a university investigation.
Members of the program in 2021 said Harsin fell short of the standard for player treatment.
One former player compared his leadership style to that of a dictatorship.
Harsin dug in his heels. He told ESPN he would not change his ways
. I questioned whether Harsin grasped that strong leadership is not synonymous with stubbornness or ruling with an iron fist.
