Another college football season is in the books after Georgia’s dismantling of TCU in the national championship game.
Thanks to the work of Pete Fiutak at College Football News, we now have the updated all-time AP college football rankings dating all the way back to 1936.
Fiutak’s simple formula took the final AP rankings each year of its existence and rewarded a simple point system to teams.
The top-ranked team received 25 points, the second-ranked team received 24, and so-on.
The number in parenthesis shows where the program ranked in this historical poll a year ago.
