Notre Dame to wear green uniforms for Ohio State game

It’s the college football offseason but we’re always looking ahead,

and one of the biggest nonconference matchups of the year is taking place via a return trip to South Bend for Ohio State.

It’s the second game of a two-game series between the two football giants when it travels to take on Notre Dame on Saturday, September 23.

OSU took care of business last year in a bit of an underwhelming,

yet workmanlike victory in Game 1 of 2022 in the ‘Shoe,

but it’ll be a different animal going into hostile territory with a new quarterback in tow early in the season next year.

And to make matters worse, it appears the Irish administration is pulling out all of the stops.

That includes the fabled green jerseys that will apparently be taken out of the bubble wrap for the contest.

The news was aptly announced Friday,

on St. Patrick’s Day through the football program’s Twitter account.
