Ohio State pistol three-peats as national champions

The Ohio State pistol team is a good shot apparently, winning its third-straight Intercollegiate Pistol Championships title on Saturday in Anniston and Talladega, Alabama Saturday.

Not only did OSU take the team title, but Katelyn Abeln took first place overall in the three-event aggregate,

 and air pistol events while Maria Tsarik was the individual winner in the sport pistol and standard pistol.

Ohio State has now won eight total open and women’s national titles in pistol events since 2000.

That’s a dominating run if we’ve ever heard of one.
