When a conference rival pays tribute to you, you must have done something right. Before Notre Dame crushed Pittsburgh,
83-43, the Panthers decided to do two Irish players homage.
dara mabrey and Lauren Ebo have exhausted their NCAA eligibility,
which made this game their final trip to Pittsburgh. With this in mind, the Panthers chose to present them with flowers:
Mabrey already has played her last game for the Irish after tearing her ACL.
Having something of a senior day before her actual senior day had to be an honor and a privilege for her. It’s unfortunate she couldn’t do anything on the court though.
Ebo, on the other hand, was able to play, and she did very well.
Coming off the bench, she scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Maddy Westbeld and sonia citron were the Irish’s leading scorers with 13 points each. olivia miles had a line of 10, points, 11 boards and five assists.
