Rutgers football recruiting: What schools are after four-star Josiah Brown the hardest?

Josiah Brown’s recruitment continues to go along at a steady pace,

helped by the fact that he is not just a standout defensive back but also an elite sprinter.

Coming off a strong junior season at Holy Trinity (Hicksville, N.Y.),

Brown’s performance on the field has solidified him as one of the nation’s top  athlete prospects.

Also helping that case, he recently ran a 6.41 time in 55 meters in an indoor track event last month.

According to 247Sports, Brown is a four star and the top-ranked player in New York in the class of 2024.

He is the No. 125 player in the nation and the thirteenth best athlete in the country.

He has a strong offer list that includes Boston College, Duke, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame,

Penn State, Syracuse and Rutgers among others. A cut down of his list could be coming soon.

Brown’s next stop could be Rutgers on January 15.

“I would say Georgia, Penn State, Notre Dame, Miami, Nebraska, Syracuse and Wisconsin,”

Brown said when asked what programs are after him the hardest.

Brown recently caught up with Rutgers Wire where he broke down his recruitment including

where things stand with Rutgers as well as Georgia, Notre Dame and Penn State!
