Twitter reaction to Mike Brey announcing retirement

After the way the 2022-23 season has gone for Notre Dame,

it was hardly a surprise when news of Mike Brey’s impending retirement broke on Thursday night.

Notre Dame will play out the stretch for the year and be on the search for a new men’s coach,

for the first time since the summer of 2000.

Brey won more games as Notre Dame’s head coach than anyone who previously held the post ,
