As the 2023 NFL draft gets closer, nearly constant pre-draft analyses are being released.Longtime ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. recently shared some opinions on Alabama outside linebacker Will Anderson that were both controversial and puzzling.
Kiper, an ESPN expert, had this to say about Anderson in his latest version of his NFL mock draft: 3.0. If you want Will Anderson Jr., call three or four. Find a man who is a master with his hands.
Very fruitful in the previous two years, and this year was a very respectable one. He lacks flexibility. When compared to Von Miller and Myles Garrett, he lacks their explosiveness off the line.
He’s an excellent player, in my opinion. In my opinion, he’s not a great player. But he is the perfect edge rusher for the Cardinals.
Given that Anderson has been widely regarded as one of the best draft prospects for the last two years, Kiper’s comments are likely to get a lot of attention.
